Chef Gil & Co. Gourmet Catering

How it works

The details, before you ask.

Everything a planner needs to approve the line item — lead times, staffing, rentals, dietary work, and deposits.

How far in advance should we book?
Two weeks is the minimum for most events, and four to eight weeks is ideal for anything over fifty guests. Peak season — October through December and April through June — books earliest.
What does pricing start at?
Employee appreciation service starts at $65 per guest, corporate events at $95, weddings and private celebrations at $125, and executive client dinners at $145. Final quotes reflect menu, staffing, and rentals.
How much of the estimate is due to hold a date?
A 30% deposit confirms the date. The balance is due the week of the event. Deposits are transferable to a new date once, with fourteen days' notice.
What area do you serve?
Austin and Central Texas — Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, and San Marcos included. Anything beyond a forty-mile radius is quoted with travel.
Do you provide staff, rentals, and bar service?
Yes. Chefs, servers, and captains are staffed to the headcount. Rentals — china, glassware, linens, tables — are coordinated through our partners and billed at cost. Bar service is available with a licensed bartender.
Can you handle dietary restrictions?
Every menu accommodates gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and allergy-specific requests. Share the details at booking and they are built into the menu, not improvised on the night.
Do you need a kitchen on site?
No. We arrive with mobile equipment and finish on site. A staging area with access to water and power is all that's required, and we break the space down completely before we leave.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel more than thirty days out and the deposit is refunded in full less a small administrative fee. Inside thirty days the deposit is retained; inside seven days the full balance applies.
Can we taste the menu first?
Tastings are offered for weddings and events over seventy-five guests, scheduled after the deposit is received and credited toward the final invoice.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes — general liability coverage and food handler certification. Certificates of insurance are issued on request for corporate venues.
